Children are the future.

They want to serve.

Acolytes hold the very important responsibilites of the service such as: lighting and extinguishing the candles, carrying the crucifer and torch candles for procession, gospel reading, and recessional, and assisting at Eucharist.

The spirit of our youth offering their service to the congregation adds an element of awe and purity that is sacred. Children who are interested and can sit through a service by themselves may train to acolyte. Adults are also invited to serve in this ministry. Please reach out so we can make arrangements.
