Have you ever felt a sense of awe while you were in a wild or scenic place? Russell Galipeau will share stories about our national parks, how they came to be and what lies ahead for them. Russell teaches at CSU Channel Islands, he is also the former superintendent of Channel Islands National Park and serves on the board of the Coalition to Protect Americas National Parks.

Join Fr. Larkin and Seminary Intern Drew Darby as we explore the Scriptural texts of Handel’s Messiah. This is a study for both the music-lover and the biblical seeker, with a careful examination of the texts that will open your understanding of both the Bible and Handel’s masterpiece in new and exciting ways. This is the perfect way to prepare for Advent, and to whet your appetite for the Messiah Sing-along too!

This Scripture study meets two times per month to discuss and reflect on the week’s scripture and lectionary as we dive deeper into what Scripture can tell us about our lives and how we can love others. We encourage people to bring their own drinks or snacks! All are welcome!

This group chooses thought-provoking books on a monthly basis and discusses them in detail, harnessing Christ’s call in our perceptions, opinions, and actions.
