1st Monday Book Club
Date: 1st Mondays of the Month
Time: 5:30 pm
Location: Zoom (contact Paula for zoom link)
This group chooses thought-provoking books on a monthly basis and discusses them in detail, harnessing Christ’s call in our perceptions, opinions, and actions.
For the month of January, we will be reading In the Bleak Midwinter by Julia Spencer. St. Alban's Episcopal Church has a new priest and she is an ex-Army chopper pilot. That sentence alone should pique your interest! It's a thriller meets cozy with engaging characters, an upstate NY setting, and plenty of suspense. It was published in 2003 and is the first of a 10-book series. We will be discussing it in our next meeting on Zoom on Monday, February 2nd @ 5:30 pm.
