Join us for this family-friendly event as St. Paul's Spirituality in Nature Group hikes together at the Ventura Botanical Gardens. This is a beautiful season in the gardens, with many wildflowers in bloom! It will be a relatively slow hike, up and back. It is free to enter the gardens on Fridays. We will meet at the tables and chairs after you enter. Hope to see you there!

For the June 2nd meeting, we have selected The Book Club for Troublesome Women by Marie Bostwick. This is a new release and tells the story of four dissatisfied sixties-era housewives who form a book club turned sisterhood that will hold fast amid the turmoil of a rapidly changing world.

In March, the Men’s Group will begin a new study of Bishop Michael Curry's book "Love Is The Way." Please join!

Small groups are important, and we encourage them at St. Paul’s. The men’s group has meet ups twice weekly for food, fellowship and study.

The men’s group also meets on Fridays - Breakfast, 7 am Black Bear Diner

Join us as we dive into scripture with our Associate Priest Rev. Vicki Mouradian. With this contemplative Bible study, you are encouraged to ask your questions, reflect on faith, and have support on your faith journey.

We are a small group of women from St. Paul’s and the Ventura community that meet weekly on Zoom to study scripture and share fellowship. If you’ve ever wondered about Revelation and wanted to study to see what it’s all about, now is a great time.  If you are interested in checking out the group, please contact Suzanne McCombs for Zoom details and more information.

The Deanery One Youth and Children's Subcommittee is Putting on an event: "A Celebration of our Baptism."
All youth and children are invited to participate with their families. We also need churches to sign up to host booths that relate to baptism!

Ideas for booths:
-art projects with water and paper
- science with water
- a bible story retelling - Jesus' baptism or another baptism
- reusable water balloon toss on the labyrinth!
- creating baptismal candles or another small gift to provide to all the upcoming baptizands in the deanery - bubble prayers or other bubble play

Ideally we will have several prayer stations that churches or individuals will host for families to interact
We will end the day with informal prayers and a cookout style luncheon.
