Studying the Acts of the Apostles; Bearing Witness in our World Today

Date: Tuesdays through Labor Day 2025.

Time: 6:30 - 7:30 pm

Join us as we follow Paul and the other early Christians as they go forth into their world in the power of the Spirit to bring the Good News of Christ into their times and places. At each gathering, we will be reading from the Acts of the Apostles with lots of group discussion about how to be God’s people in our world today. Please join us for fellowship, prayer, and scripture every Tuesday through Labor Day. Invite your friends!

This Scripture study meets two times per month to discuss and reflect on the week’s scripture and lectionary as we dive deeper into what Scripture can tell us about our lives and how we can love others. We encourage people to bring their own drinks or snacks! All are welcome!

The Deanery One Youth and Children's Subcommittee present "A Celebration of our Baptism." All youth and children are invited to participate with their families.

Ideally we will have several prayer stations that churches or individuals will host for families to interact with games, crafts and more! We will end the day with informal prayers and a cookout style picnic!

For the June 2nd meeting, we have selected The Book Club for Troublesome Women by Marie Bostwick. This is a new release and tells the story of four dissatisfied sixties-era housewives who form a book club turned sisterhood that will hold fast amid the turmoil of a rapidly changing world.
